Need some backyard barbecue decor ideas? Look no further than your local Old Time Pottery store. We are going to share some of our ideas that will make your next summer party look amazing. Get your supplies and get started on creating your own summer backyard barbecue decor.
We are going to start with a little project that will make your backyard barbecue extra amazing. These mason jar mugs can be picked up at your local Old Time Pottery. You can then etch the initials of your guests on each one. These will then serve as place cards, drinking glasses, and party favors. I love an idea that has three uses!
Start with your mason jar mugs. Clean the surface really well with rubbing alcohol. Then gather up some glass etching cream, vinyl, and painter’s tape.
Cut the initials from the vinyl using an electronic craft cutter or a craft knife. Peel from the paper and stick to your mason jar mug. Use painter’s tape to protect the mug surface. Apply etching cream to the initials per the package directions.
Once you remove the etching cream (remember to follow the directions!) and vinyl, you will be left with some etched initials on a cute mason jar mug. We added some fun bandannas to use as napkins to each mug.
There is also a bandanna that is used as a place mat. These are inexpensive and perfect for a backyard barbecue! Keep them on hand in every color for summer entertaining and of course your backyard barbecue decor.
Pick up some fun wood plates at your local Old Time Pottery as well. Here we tied some silverware together with a loose twine knot. These make cute bundles to lay on the plates.
We also made a mason jar centerpiece for the table. Add three mason jars to a long white plate. Pick up your jars and plate at Old Time Pottery. Tie twine around the tops of the jars and add water and fresh baby’s breath.
Simple yet oh so stunning!
We chose a red checked tablecloth but you can pick and choose from the wide variety available at Old Time Pottery. Use these backyard barbecue decor ideas for your next party. Your guests will love all of the personal touches and you will love just how inexpensive these ideas can be!
