It is almost time for back to school and it is time to start thinking of dorm decor. Something that shows your personality. Let’s face it, there are so many things to purchase. Anytime you can find a bargain, you need to snatch it up! That’s were Old Time Pottery comes in. I shopped their Bargain Blast Sale and came up with a few ideas to help you decorate your dorm room. I added a little chevron, color, and pizzazz to a otherwise dull look.

I looked in the Old Time Pottery Bargain Blast Flyer and decided to purchase this carpet and some bed rest pillows. Then I added paint . Paint is an inexpensive way to change the look of an item.

I started with my chevron design to transform the carpet. I used chevron tape to make this fast and easy.

I applied the tape making stripes of turquoise and white. I just painted right on the carpet. You can paint any pattern or design. One stripe or many. It’s up to you.

With the pillows I printed some words on my printer and cut them out with an exacto knife to make a stencil. I taped it right to the pillow.

I applied black paint then turquoise to make them pop. I used the words “sweet dreams” but you can use any words or initials. I love the way it looks.

These would make a great gift for birthdays or Christmas too. These were the perfect accompaniment to the little chevron end table I painted.

Dorm room decor should not break the bank. With Old Time Pottery deals, you can use the money you save for all the other important things you will need, like books. These are just some of the deals going on right now. There are so many great things to choose from. Check out the Bargain Blast Sale and stock up!

Make something beautiful that shows your creativity and personality!
