Dish towels can be not only a major tool in your kitchen, but can be an opportunity to express your personality. When you look around any home decor store, you can easily find basic dish towels that are a solid color, with no major pattern. I was so excited when I found these basic white dish towels from Old Time Pottery! I had a flashback to my earlier scrapbooking/card-making days when I used rubber stamps a ton! I thought I’d share this easy idea to personalize some towels! It’s easy and looks so elegant!

All you need, is a basic linen dish towel, rubber stamps, and a permanent dye ink pad. Simple!

As for customizing your towels, all it takes is three steps. That’s right, just three steps!

Directions:

  1. Iron dish towel to get a flat surface.
  2. Ink up your rubber stamp.

  3. Press firmly onto the fabric to make sure the dye really sticks to as many fibers as possible.

Voila! Easy, breezy dish towels in a snap! Now you can look super impressive to all of your friends. We’ll keep how easy this is as our little secret, ok? These make a great gift too! Now go on…Head on over to Old Time Pottery to get your blank towels and get stamping!
