Hey guys, Happy Fall! I love this time of year because chilly temperatures are finally here and the Holidays are just around the corner. So now is the time to get your home ready for Holiday entertaining and family get togethers! Today I’d like to share our simple Dining Room update that started with a trip to Old Time Pottery!

Here’s our dining room below. We’ve got bold red walls and traditional dark wood furniture. However overall it’s a very eclectic space with a mix of different styles.

We recently added this pendant chandelier above and really love the clean, modern look. So we wanted new buffet lamps to coordinate. Well all I can say is Old Time Pottery to the rescue!

Below you can see our old chandelier and traditional buffet lamps. But check out the new lamps! I love their bamboo like texture and white linen shades. They coordinate with our new chandelier perfectly!

And here are the lamps below flanking our antique sideboard! The room is still eclectic in it’s design, but with cleaner lines and a more modern look.

Here’s a close up. I even found super affordable pumpkins and faux Fall leaves to create this fun Fall vignette!

This is “Ellie”, our ceramic elephant from OTP that sits between both windows. He’s been there for years now, and I’ve actually become very attached to him.

As a Design Consultant, my philosophy is simple – I save on knick knacks and home accessories that over the years can easily be switched out. And splurge every now and then on larger furniture pieces.

So if your home needs some updating, think Old Time Pottery! They’ve got great home accents and accessories at unbelievable prices. And you may even find a little ceramic animal friend that you can’t live without ;).
