You can make these fall themed centerpieces in just minutes for either Thanksgiving or Halloween. These centerpieces use the same basic items from Old Time Pottery so you can start with the Halloween version and change to the Thanksgiving version in November.

Start with two straight sided vases from Old Time Pottery that fit inside one another. You will also need a large plate. I chose this white square version.

Put the smaller vase inside the larger one. Stuff the inner vase full of paper and start to fill the outer version with candy corn. Make sure your smaller vase stays in the center of the larger one as you fill.

If you are making the Halloween version and want to add the pumpkin peeps, stop about half way with the candy corn and stuff the peeps into the large vase.

For the details on the Halloween version, add a black cloth to the plate and some plastic spiders.

I then used some sticks from our yard and spray painted them gold.  Insert into that center vase and layer on cheese cloth torn into pieces.  (Cheese cloth can generally be found in the kitchen section.)

That is all it takes to make a gorgeous Halloween centerpiece.  For the Thanksgiving or fall version, start with just candy corn in the outer vase and add pumpkins, faux leaves, and fake fruit to the plate.

Some wheat added to the center vase completes this look and you are ready for holiday guests.

Make one or both of these fall themed centerpieces in just minutes.  They will look amazing in your home and everyone will enjoy this special decorating touch for the season.
