Don’t you just love the farmhouse style? I sure do, which is why I’ve come up with great ways to start adding rustic touches to your own space on a budget.

Spruce up your bathroom this month with the Home and White Sale at Old Time Pottery.  Adding those farmhouse style touches has never been easier!

We started with adding some additional storage to this space.  You can go with traditional shelving but you can also think outside of the box.  Adding a wooden tray to the wall gave this space additional storage that also has that authentically rustic feel.  You can find trays and baskets at Old Time Pottery that will work great for storage in your farmhouse style bathroom.

You can store towels or toilet paper in your rustic tray.  The top also serves as a shelf for additional decor or storage containers.

No bathroom would be complete without a place to hang towels.  I discovered this set of rustic style hooks also at Old Time Pottery.  We love the unique style it added to this space.  You will need to pick up some new towels on sale while you are there as well!

We just love those rustic hooks and the details they added to this space.

When sprucing up your bathroom, don’t forget your floors.  Old Time Pottery has a wide selection of bath mats as well.  We chose a muted grey and white one for this space.  The trash can was also an adorable find that works perfectly in this space.

A large basket from Old Time Pottery works for dirty clothes or additional bathroom storage.

I might have missed it but what is the color and mfg. of your sage green paint? Green is my main decorating color (because we homestead and have animals I use greens/golds/cream/brown/rust) and I really like your sage green paint color and have had a difficult time finding one that is not too blue/green. TIA

I love the whole look Angie, it looks so relaxing. I’d spend all day in the bathroom pampering myself and feeling like a farmhouse goddess.

I love these ideas! I bet you could do a similar look with repurposed items from a local antique store for less. It may require a little more work however. This looks lovely.

I have the same question as Donna – love the color of that bathroom. You’ve done a great job adding some cute touches! I am not a DIYer but am very inspired by people who are! 🙂
