Supplies needed to make this wedding centerpiece:
- Vase (a flat sided version works best for this idea and there is a wide selection at Old Time Pottery)
- Peel and stick mossy mat
- Flowers (real or artificial)
- Wood round
You will need to add the number to the vase first. Draw or trace your numbers backwards on the back of the mossy mat.
Use scissors to cut out.
Peel the backing away and position your moss number on the front of your vase. This is one reason that a flat sided vase works best, but the lemons work better in one as well.
Cut up some lemons into thin slices.
Add the lemons to the flat surface of the vase and use the marbles to hold them into place. You can either do just one side with lemons and the moss number or both sides.
Continue all the way up your vase with the lemons and fill with marbles as you go.
Add in the flowers of your choice. Real flowers work with water added to the vase or you can add in some of the amazing artificial flowers available at Old Time Pottery. We also added our wedding centerpiece to a wood round with a candle.
This great wedding centerpiece will look amazing at your reception and it will mark the table numbers as well. Make these the day of the ceremony as the lemons will dry out.
You will love this festive addition to your wedding reception tables and just how easy these are to make. The lemons are perfect for a spring wedding or you can substitute limes or even oranges if you wish. Get your supplies at Old Time Pottery and make this wedding centerpiece today!
