Hi friends, well the Holiday season is upon us and it’s about that time to start decorating for the Holidays!  Every year I love adding a few new items to my current collection of Christmas decor.  And this year I’m super excited because we’ve since given our dark red brick fireplace a Diy makeover with paint.

Here’s the Before pic…

We are loving this new cleaner look, so much so that I wanted the decor on our mantle to be lighter and brighter this year.  So I visited Old Time Pottery in search of a few fresh finds to give our mantle a new look!

I found two simple items…sparkly gold branches vase filler and faux poinsettias.  And all for less than $40, I love that!

DSC_0604I took the faux poinsettia tops off and nestled them right into our existing Christmas Garland.  I love the fun pop of color next to our neutral stockings and faux mercury glass candle votives.

Here’s the sparkly/gold vase filler below.  I am loving gold in home decor these days and this metallic hue is perfect for easily adding glamorous style to any Holiday space!

I even found this cool red plate at OTP last year for less than $10.  I love using this vibrant red throughout my home during the Holidays!

And one final look at our new fireplace mantle all decked out for Christmas!

OTP-Collage

So two simple purchases from Old Time Pottery gave our fireplace mantle a fresh new festive look!  And for less than $40. That my friends is what I love about Old Time Pottery.  With OTP you can easily create a chic Holiday home that you, your friends and family will love!
