It’s hard to believe how quickly the summer is going by. We’re already starting to plan our Labor Day BBQ, but there’s still time to enjoy a classic, cool summer treat – ice cream! (And is there really ever a bad time of year to enjoy ice cream?)
Here’s a simple recipe for one of our favorite flavors that doesn’t require machines or manual churning and just a few ingredients.
2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
1 tsp Mint Extract
Green Food Coloring
In a large bowl, whisk condensed milk, food coloring and mint.
Add heavy cream and whisk on high speed until soft peaks form.
Fold in chocolate chips and spread mixture into a loaf pan.
Cover with foil and freeze for 6 hours or until firm.
