You can pick up your own Startastic at Old Time Pottery for the low price of $39.99.  Just one of these was used in this post and perfectly lit up this average sized home.  Give one a try for your home before adding additional lights.

The best part about this product is that there is 4 laser modes so you can have a little variation in your holiday decor.  This one product will do green with moving stars action, red & green with moving stars, green lights, and red & green lights.  So one product gets you 4 different looks!

Just put the stake in the ground with the notch pointed towards your home or surface you want to use for the lights.

Add in your thumb screw.

Then just screw on the Startastic in approximately the correct height for your home.  You will need to adjust the lights after dark.  The Startastic can now be plugged in.  It actually has a sensor and will start once it is dark….all on its own!  Something that will turn on and off by itself?  I was sold on this already.

There are two buttons on the Startastic.  One allows you to choose between green and red & green.  The other you push to put the lights in motion.  Simple right?

We plugged ours up and waited for night to fall.  I was so happy with the results after we adjusted to fit our home.

A perfect light show that took just minutes to install.  I have a confession…..I really hate to hang Christmas lights.  Don’t even get me started on taking them down.  This took 5 minutes to install and 5 minutes to take down.  Plus I actually like it better than traditional Christmas lights.  We loved this product and will be using it year after year.

I thought a video would be the best way to show off the lights.  It is of course dark….it is outside at night!  But you can really see the movement of the lights in this video.  ENJOY!

I think you could use this product for parties and indoor decorating as well.  Point it at a wall and watch the lights dance in the dark!  Your holiday party will be the talk of the neighborhood.  I hope you enjoyed this Startastic review as much as we enjoyed giving the product a try!

Wow, this looks amazing! And soooo much easier the climbing on ladders – and presumably a much lower electricty bill too!

This sounds great – I love how easy it looks compared to hanging and taking down strands of lights!

Great way to decorate for Christmas. My husband used laser lighting last years and thought it was great and so easy. Thanks for sharing at DI&DI.
