Oh Fall how I love you!
I love this time of year, and yes living in Florida it may seem to hit us late…the temperatures anyway. But one thing is for sure, the decorating and all the Fall colors are sure to be making an appearance in our home!
I love to keep things simple but at the same time stylish for the front porch. I took a trip to Old Time Pottery and was greeted with so may adorable signs, wreaths, pumpkins and more for Fall!
How to decorate your front door
I knew I wanted to find a wreath that could last all the way through Halloween to Thanksgiving and found the perfect match for the bold door!
Are you having a hard time choosing decor for your front door this Fall? Here are some ideas and tips to keep in mind! Make sure to head to Old Time Pottery this season, start now…it’s never too early in my opinion!
Decorate your plants and flowers
Planters are a great way to place your current floral, greenery or fern inside of. Old Time Pottery has an amazing selection of barrels, planters, flower pots and even stacks of hay. Stagger them on each side of your front door way to create dimension and make the area look more full!
Must have wreaths!
Choosing a signature wreath for your door is a must do! Every door should have some sort of wreath for the season, it compliments your home and welcomes guests in a warm way! Choose colors of the season or go for a more muted approach like an all wheat neutral wreath for colored doors that are more on the pastel or blue side. Go bold like the one I have for darker doors!
Spruce up your front door furniture with pillows! Old Time Pottery has an array of selective pillows to place on your outdoor furniture like chairs, swinging chairs, baskets, benches and more!
I love stepping into a home and reading or seeing a pretty doormat, it sort of tells me how the family or person’s personality inside! I’ve got to have a cute doormat to finalize any front porch look! Try matching your mat with your surrounding decor, if your decor coloring is more simple, try a busier design and vise versa!
