Did you know that February 20th is Love Your Pet Day? While they deserve your love every day, here’s a quick and easy recipe that you can make as an extra special treat for your dog to celebrate. And when you’re done, you can put them in your new treat container!

Dog bone cookie cutters
Whole wheat flour
Organic peanut butter
Baking powder
Skim milk
Parchment paper
Electric mixer

In your mixing bowl add:

1 cup of peanut butter to 1 cup of milk.

In a separate bowl, combine

1 tablespoon of baking powder with 2 cups of wheat flour. Slowly add these powder ingredients to the peanut butter and milk mixture.
Combine all of the ingredients until thoroughly mixed. Using parchment paper, sprinkle a tiny bit of wheat flour on the surface and roll out the dough to reach your desired dog treat thickness. Using your dog bone cookie cutters, cut out dog treats and place them onto a greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 -20 minutes.

Peanuts are not toxic to dogs. Macadamia nuts are toxic to dogs.
