Warm Mug Christmas Gift with FREE Printable Tags

Christmas is right around the corner and there is no time like the present to knock out some, well, presents! I have a simple gift idea to share that can be adapted to whomever you choose to give it to. The main thing you need? A really awesome mug. And it just so happens that Old Time Pottery specializes in those!

Whether it’s a monogram mug, a trendy hipster mug, or even a Star Wars mug, you can find it in store. This shiny gold owl beauty won out for me. And once you have the mug selected you just have to decide how to fill it.

For this particular mug, I am going to fill it with the things one would need to make an excellent cup of hot cocoa. This includes the cocoa mix, marshmallows, and a small whisk.

As for wrapping the gift, grab a festive dishtowel, ribbon, and a pretty Christmas ornament.

You also need my “Be merry & warm!” free printable tags.

I placed the cocoa mix and marshmallows in test tubes from a craft store and topped the whisk off with some gold ribbon. Place all of these items in the mug.

Other “warm” ideas would be items for a tea lover, coffee fan, or soup connoisseur.

Punch a hole in the gift tag and run a thin ribbon through it and the decorative Christmas ornament. Tie these around the dishtowel. Take the large decorative ribbon and make a big pretty bow around the gathered dishtowel.

The dishtowel and ornament will be fun extra gifts to go with the warm mug set. This is a great gift idea for teachers, neighbors, and that hard-to-buy-for friend or family member.
